The Pesariis community lives in harmony with the environment and tries to encourage a simple, healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle. The youth association MAKAKOS has devoted time and energy to introduce the participants to the local traditions: from folk dances to economic activities.

An integral part of the experience was running the parish hostel sharing house chores like cleaning the communal areas, tidying the kitchen , serving at tables.
